About

“Antioch Times” is a humble attempt to articulate the call and communicate the vision for a biblical model of the church I pastor – Trinity Reformed Church in Orange City, Iowa.  Here, on the Great Plains, at the confluence of corn and beans, small town life and Christian college, God is doing a remarkable thing.  By the Holy Spirit people of different cultures are coming together as one body in Christ, worshiping our Triune God, and following Christ in mission to the ends of the earth.  There is no better model than the first church in Antioch (Acts 11:19-30; 13:1-3; 14:24-28).  Join me in thinking about being a glocal church – where local ministry and global partnerships intersect in remarkable ways.  And, along the way, I also post observations on culture, media, and being a parent of four teenage children.   May God be praised and the saints be glad.
